I qualified from Glasgow Vet School in 1997 and have worked in several parts of the UK since then, both in branch practice as the sole vet and in larger vet practices. I decided to buy Queens Park Veterinary Surgery in 2006, after looking at Practices in other areas, because of its location and client base. I have really enjoyed getting to know our clients and patients over the last 13 years, and hope to do so for a long time to come.
I enjoy being a ‘GP’ vet due to the varied nature of the job, and have a keen interest in preventative medicine and soft tissue surgery. It is important to me that our clients understand what is available in terms of veterinary care, and I aim to keep up to date with all areas of veterinary medicine. Our Practice aims are to be transparent so you know exactly what we recommend for your family pet, and why.
When I’m not in work, I am often out with my young daughter walking our dog Frank, and in the summer I enjoy attending music festivals – you might see me at ‘Boltfest’ over at Queens Park letting my hair down! I am also a keen rugby fan, and enjoy watching club and country games.
